ALGARED is the cross-border network for the Development of Innovative Products with MICROALGAS. It is working to prove its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, analgesic, anti-tumour and anti-ageing bioactivity. Neurological activity studies continue, so that new formulations of compounds for alternative therapies for chronic pain can be obtained.
